Unable to download PDF with filled in forms

We are trying to use your PDF Viewer to do Form Filling and are finding a few problems. We created a more complex version that would pull and save from our server, but we experienced problems, so we reverted back to your original source code and still there are issues with that - so we aren't sure what we have wrong.

Basically, when we fill out a form and click to download, it is only downloading the original form and not the updated with the filled in fields. So, the PDF is blank for all of the fields.

Also, a separate issue we noticed (and this is happening on your online demo as well) is that after adding a signature in the signature pop-up function, it is not displaying on the website nor on the PDF. I tried the ASP.net MVC and Core demos (and it does not work) but the Angular and React demos on your site do appear to be working.

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure that the security settings allow form filling. (See File > Properties > Security.) Make sure that the PDF includes interactive, or fillable, form fields. Sometimes form creators forget to convert their PDFs to interactive forms, or they intentionally design a form you can only fill in by hand.

Will

1. Enable JavaScript

2. Check for anti-virus updates

3. Try a different browser

4. Try a direct download link

5. Ensure a stable Internet connection

6. Update the video card driver (Windows only)

7. Troubleshoot for specific error messages

Hope This Works,
Peter
