I will come again about this issue since your response to my last replay was very mellow.. almost "ignored".
So again. In the topic that you linked me (
here) people are saying that Chrome is leaving the dataTransfer.dropEffect option set to "none" meaning that it is up to the developer to set it on "move", "copy", etc... So in my opinion it is up to YOU to add the possibility to set the "dropEffect" option in uploader component. Again I will also link the picture where I think you should set it IN YOUR code. Of course include an "Input()" parameter (angular) or an option (JS) so that users can set this setting to their preference.
UNTIL then for all the users that are having trouble with this.. here is what works for me.
...and don't forget to remove the event listener.
