Can we make unavailable time for the resources

1. If we have a resource and he is unavailable between ex 4pm-5pm.So can we make this particular time as grayed.

2.Can we have any properties in that an appointment should not be assign to grayed out area .So grayed out area can be holiday, unavailable time .In that time appointment should not be assign.
