Syncfusion.Xamarin.Core package is too big

in order to use SfShimmer we need to download Syncfusion.Xamarin.Core package which is around 1.7 mb size. Is it not possible to have this separated from Core? or if we dont use other tools in Core package, it will be removed by Linker if we use full linker?

As per the current implementation, it is not possible to reduce the package size even if the linker option is set. We have planned to optimize this and this is planned to be moved in our Volume 3 SP1 release which is scheduled to be rolled out in the mid of November, 2019.

Due to time constraint, the improvement was not included in Volume 3 SP1 release. We will be including it upcoming Volume 4 release which is expected to be released in mid-December 2019.

As per our previous updates, it is not possible to separate shimmer from the core package. However, while referring core project in the application with linker and if you use only shimmer in it, the package size will not increase more than 0.3 ~.0.5 mb. We have optimized it to the maximum possibilities.
