We have tried to reproduce the reported issue based on the given video demonstration. Unfortunately, we were unable to replicate the issue at our end and we suspect that this issue may be caused due to incorrect value mapping in the data source. So, we suggest you to ensure that you have provided the unique id for the fieldsetting’s value property in the data source. We have prepared the sample based on your provided video and attached it below.

Also, we have provided the Generic Type support for our MultiSelect component to support the multiple type of values in the latest release version 17.2.40-beta. So, we need to bind the type of Value and Text with array in the MultiSelectFieldSettings to the TValue since MultiSelect value type is array.

Please check the above sample and still issue persists, revert us with issue reproducing sample(if possible), code example of our MultiSelect rendering and data source and product version that will help us to check and provide the exact solution at our end.
