We have analyzed your reported query at our end. We have prepare the sample to replicate your scenario based on the given call stack. And it’s working fine at our end. Please refer to the attached sample. 
 
We need some more information about your customization to replicate your scenario. Are you using the MDIParent other than the SfForm? Did you have any border customization on the MDI child and parent forms, if yes, can you please send the customization details or modify the attached sample to replicate your scenario.
