Are the controls that SfDataForm available individually to use to build my own UI ?

I like some of the features of the DataForm.

I don't like the idea of the "data form" overall ....

Can I use the individual controls that make up the DataForm in my apps ?

Features like validation and error indication ....

We have analyzed your query “Is DataForm available individually to use to build custom UI?” we regret that DataForm features like validation and error indication are non-UI helper classes they were not used with other UI elements. As of now, DataForm supports custom editors using which you can use custom UI view as editors. Kindly refer our UG documentation to know more about custom editors.

Currently, we are implementing new UI for DataForm which will include SfTextInputLayout support in SfDataForm. We will include this feature in our upcoming Volume 2 beta release which is expected to roll out by mid of June 2019. Kindly refer our UG documentation to know more information about SfTextInputLayout view.

If suggested UI does not meet your requirement kindly suggest us with your required UI and we will consider it in any of our upcoming releases.
