End edit mode when 'enter' key pressed on keyboard

Hello,

currently when editing values in SfDataGrid when you press 'enter' key on keyboard, current cell still is in edit mode and you have to click on the other cell to end editing on this cell. Is it possible to end editing just after you press 'enter' key?

Based on the provided information, we have checked your query “DataGrid cell edit mode not end when enter key tapped in the keyboard” in Xamarin.Forms and it is working fine as expected from our side. When tapping the enter key after editing the data grid cell, selection will move to the next cell and the edited values will be updated in the Grid.

I have checked sample and it's not working as you described - please check attached video. What I want to achieve is to don't have any cell selected after tapping enter key on keyboard.

We checked your query “Key navigation is not working in Xamarin Forms Android”. We provided support to navigate between the cells in Xamarin forms UWP and Xamarin Forms Mac platform alone. How ever we will update you the sample level workaround in two business days (March 5, 2019). We appreciate your patience until then.

We have tried to implement work around for your requirement “End edit the cell when we press done key”. In xamarin forms. But we have faced exception and current cell issue in grid numeric and text column. We have logged defect for the same. We will fix the issue and update you the issue fix patch on or before April 15, 2019. We will appreciate your patience until then.

We have fixed the reported issue and included the issue fix in our weekly NuGet package update version 17.1.0.41 and is available for download (nuget.org). You can update this version or latest 17.1.0.44 version to resolve the issue. This issue fix will be included in our 2019 Volume 1 Service pack release as well, which is expected to be available by next week of May 2019.
