Create Sub Categories

I would like to create  a tree structure around categories allowing permissions to be set at the root level but restricted at a particular branch for some users. Can this be done already (can't see how to do this) or would this be a new feature request?

At the planning stage for every release cycle, we review all open features and identify features for implementation based on specific parameters including product vision, technological feasibility, and customer interest. We will let you know when this feature is implemented. 

You can also communicate with us regarding the open features any time using our Feature Report page here. As a workaround, you can mix and match the group, users, and dashboard permission to achieve your requirement. Please refer below image. 

 

User 1 can read the all dashboard from Category1 and b but cannot read category a. Then you can achieve your requirement by below steps. 

1. Create a group
2. Add User1 in that group
3. Assign the permission to read all dashboard in Category1 and Category b for that group.
