- How to show the highlighted color for more than one day's event as like google calendar.
How to show the highlighted color for more than one day's event as like google calendar.
I wonder is there any way to highlight the color on multiple days if the start date is all day and it runs multiple days. For example, conference runs for three days straight and wanna highlight those days with color horizontally. But how to achieve that.
Thank you

Hi Ishwor,
Thank you for contacting Syncfusion support.
Could you please confirm us whether your requirement is with SfSchedule / SfCalendar, since you have mentioned control as SfCalendar.
Requirement with SfSchedule:
As per the current behavior in SfSchedule, Spanning of Appointment will be displayed in the AllDay panel when an appointment StartDate and EndDate in Xamarin.Android. It will be same as like google calendar in Day/Week/WorkWeekView and in MonthView single notation will be there to indicate the appointment availability on the specific day.
You can download our latest Essential Studio Volume 3 SP1, 2017 (Version 15.3.0.29) under the following link.
If the given solution doesn’t meet your requirement, could you please revert to us with more details about your requirement along with screen shot (if possible). It will be helpful for us to check on it and provide you the solution.
Regards,

Hi Ishwor Khanal,
Thanks for the update.
Our SfSchedule control mainly targets the Recursive Appointments, AllDay and Spanning Appointments features having different view modes to represent the appointments. In SfSchedule as we updated earlier the requested feature Spanning Appointment like Google Calendar in Day/Week/Work views and can be customized similar to SfCalendar. Currently the Spanning of Appointments for MonthView is in progress and most probably will be available in our upcoming Volume 4 2017 release.

Also regarding Spannable Appointments feature in SfCalendar control, currently we don’t have immediate plans.
Please let us know if you have any concern.

Hi Ishwor Khanal,
Thanks for contacting Syncfusion support.
Your requirement can be achieved using the DrawMonthCell event available in SfCalendar control. We can get the dates from the collection of dates that need to be highlighted and customize the color or View of that particular dates. We have prepared a sample in which we have highlighted multiple dates using the DrawMonthCell event. Please find the sample from the below link.

Hi Ishwor Khanal,
We have checked your requirement "Show the highlighted color for more than one day's event" from our side and we have created a sample based on your requirement.
In SfCalendar highlighted color did not appear continuously from start date to end date but you can get the highlighted color indication of each event from start date to end date.
Please find the sample from the below link.
