Are there any plans to support advanced functionalities of DocIO in UWP?

Hi,

Are there any plans to allow DocIO in UWP to for example render as image or export to PDF? 

I know that UWP library was derived from WinRT library, but Universal apps are more powerfull and could be developed for Desktop only. 

There are no reasons to not to put such features in UWP package. Developers would be able to create great WindowsStore apps with full DocX/PDF export etc. which would bring more people to Windows Store.

We would like to inform you that currently DocIO does not have support for Word to PDF and Word to Image conversion in UWP and so have logged feature report regarding this. Hi T P,

We already have plans to port the Word to PDF conversion feature to UWP platform. At this moment we are not able to provide any tentative timeline. This feature will be implemented in any of our upcoming releases.
