Grid multiple select by dragging completed event

How do I know when a multiple selection using the mouse and dragging is complete? I don't want something that fires when each row is selected - just when the selection is finished so I can then query what rows were selected.

From your query, we suggest you to use RowSelected event and GetSelectedRecordsAsync method to capture the selected records from the Grid. Kndly refer the attached documentation link for your reference.

Does RowSelected not fire as each row is selected while dragging? I was hoping for an event that only occurred once the dragging was finished.

We have considered it as a usability improvement and logged a task “row-deselection event does not trigger properly when multi selecting row” . Thank you for taking the time to report this issue and helping us to improve our product. At Syncfusion, we are committed to fixing all validated defects (subject to technical feasibility and Product Development Life Cycle) and this fix will be included in our any of our upcoming patch release.

Due to some unforeseen circumstances, we could not able to include the fix for the issue in our latest release. We have planned to implement this in our upcoming patch release which is going to be held on ​4^th January, 2023.
