Incorrect date format

Dear Syncfusion Staff,
I've a little question:
I'm using Essential Studio for ASP.NET.

I have created an ASP.NET DataTable with a column DateTime type, then I've filled the PdfLightTable datasource with this DataTable.

In web.config I've set globalization culture="it-IT" (date format dd/mm/yyyy), but when the table is shown, the date column is in mm/dd/yyyy format.

How can I set the correct format?

Thank you.
Best regards

Hi Marcello,

Thank you for using Syncfusion products.

We are unable to reproduce the issue. Please look at the sample, which stores the date and time in the required (dd/mm/yyyy) format,in pdf light table.

Sample:

Please try this and let us know if you have any questions.

I tried the sample
I see the time is displayed too in the "Date and Time" column.
I would like to format the DateTime so that the time is not displayed.
My question: how can I apply a format other than the standard?

Hans

Hi Hans,

We presently do not support date and time formatting in PDF Light Table. But the date and time can be formatted as in the sample below. Please view the modified sample in which, date alone is displayed ( Time is not displayed) as you requested.

Sample:

Please try this and let us know if you have any questions.
