How do you make the GridTableControl Read-only? If you set enabled to false you can not expand your grouping.

In the next beta you''ll be able to specify style settings (such as ReadOnly and other cell style settins) at any level (engine, table, group, column etc.). Also, the grid will set the cells to be readonly by default if the underlying list is readonly. I can send you updated assemblies for grid when this is in place (I am working on that at the moment). Right now with the existing build the readonly settings are mostly ignored. Stefan
