How to rename a column and rebind it to datagrid?

I am having an issue where when i rename a column and then i rebind it to the datagrid, it becomes a combobox. I''m not sure why this is so... Is it possible to help me with this? Thanks,

Hi Josh,Thanks for your interest in Syncfusion Products.In Syncfusion grid, when a column in the binded table is renamed and rebinded, the column get displayed with default datatype and TextBox celltype. It cannot change to ComboBox celltype. Can you please provide more details on the code settings used in your application?
