Captions, overflow and the ToolStripEx

Good Afternoon,

I am currently using Essential Tools 6.303.1.8. I have a Windows Form with a ToolStripEx. ShowCaption and ShowItemToolTips are both false. I am displaying tooltips on mouse over using the SuperToolTip. All is fine until I resize the form to where all the ToolStripButtons do not fix in the ToolStripEx, and the overflow button is displayed. I click the overflow button to display the rest of the buttons. When I mouse over the buttons in the overflow, I get the caption again. How do I turn this off? All I want displayed is my SuperToolTip, not the caption.

Thanks so much.

Hi ,

Thank you for using Syncfusion products.

This is not an issue with ToolStripEx control. The windows tooltip displayed when clicking on toolstripbutton which is in overflow button . You can also check this behavior with standard ToolStrip control.

Currently there is no workaround for this behavior.

Please let me know if you require further details.

Regards,
Jaya
