Hi Duyu,
Can you post the versions of Essential Tools, VS.NET and the Operating System you are using?
Does this happen when you just drag and drop the ComboboxAdv control from the designer on to a form and build the application?
Thanks

Essential Tools 1.6.1.1, VS.Net 2003, WinXp En. Occurred when run the build app.
It seems that the exception maybe will occur when you drop down the combo, not yet select anything, and focus to another control.

Hi Duyu,
Can you try reproducing this issue with the latest version of Essential Tools. If you could open a Direct Trac incident, we will update it with download instructions for the latest version.
Regards,
Arun
