I'm using the gridtoexcel method to convert a databoundgrid to an excel file. I was wondering if there is a way to turn off all formatting before exporting into excel. More specifically, I want to turn off the backcolor of the column headers when exporting to excel.

Also, I saw an example of converting from excel to grid and I was wondering if there is a way to convert to from excel to grid and then from grid to sql database table? Thanks!

Hi Code12345,

There is no built-in support for this. If you want to customize the excel export in a grid, you need to derive the GridExcelConverterControl class. Below is a forum thread that discuss with similar issue.

Best regards,
