Feature Request: Add ''single'' datatype support to ChartPoint

I have charts that contain upto 4 series' with about 50000 points. The underlying datatype for these series' is the System.Single/float(4 bytes) datatype. But when added to chart, they are coverted to double (8 bytes) datatype thus increasing the internal chart storage by a factor of 2. This is significant increase in the runtime footprint for the amount of data I'm using(i.e. from 400K to 800K per chart displayed).
