XlsIO: importing an .xls file saved by OpenOffice

Hello,
We've recently started using XlsIO to import Excel files into our Essential Grid application.

We noticed that .xls files which were saved by OpenOffice Calc (v2.0.4, the latest version) will fail on the call to ExcelEngine.Workbooks.Open(), with:

Index was out of range. Must be non-negative
and less than the size of the collection.
Parameter name: index

This seems to happen regardless of the content of the file, even on an empty, newly created document. (testcase attached)

We wondered whether you guys would like to know about this, whether you are interested in attempting to tweak your code for compatability with Open Office derived .xls files, whether you had any interest in helping us discover the difference between Excel and Open-Office derived files which causes the problem and chase Open Office to modify their output, or any other solutions to the problem.

Your thoughts appreciated,

Regards,

Jonathan
