Hi Phil,
Yes, all the features you have mentioned are supported in our controls.
1) It is possible to export our GridGroupingControl to Excel file. We use our XlsIO component internally and provided support for this.
If you have Essential Studio for Asp.Net installed on the machine, You can include a reference to GridConverter.web and XlsIO.base assembly, in our {Essential Studio Installed Location}/Web/Grid.grouping.Web/Samples/2.0/Formatting/Conditional Formatting sample project and uncomment the related codes (codes inside region ExcelExport) in the sample for ExcelExport to work.
2) Our GridGrouping control support binding to XMLDataSource. Please have a look at the Grid.Grouping.Web->GettingStarted->XMLDataBinding in our
Online Demo Samples or in the Essential Studio Installed web samples location
3) It is possible to create a new Xls file using our XlsIO feature. Please have a look at our XlsIo.Web
Online Demo Samples.
Let us know if you have any queries.
Thank you for your interest in syncfusion products.
Best Regards,
