Activating a docked control when it is autohidden

How do I show a docked pane when the pane is collapsed (auto-hidden)? I have tried:

dockingManager1.SetDockVisibility(control, true);
dockingManager1.ActivateControl(control);

but this does not work - the control is made visible if it has been hidden, but does not "pop up" if it is collapsed.

Is this a known issue? I am using Essential Tools V4.1.0.50.

We regret for the inconvenience caused.This is a known issue in 4.1.0.50.Our latest patch 4.1.0.71 is free from this bug.Please create a direct-trac incident to obtain download details of patch.

As this is not a problem until our release later this year we will wait until 4.2. I believe the 4.2 RC will be released tomorrow...?
