Status Bar Solution ?

I have to use a status bar that can put some inner controls with a width setted.
It seems with xpMenus, the Bar Item (static) cannot be fixed with a Width .
So i looked at the Status Bar Adv, and it is more fun that the status bar which is inside the xp menus. But i can't use it with docking manager, because it can't be docking, and the docking client panel only support the SizeToFit;

do i am wrong? can i use the docking manager with the status bar Adv ?
can i fix width of BarItem ?
