Hi, Is it possible to use ExcelRW to open an existing spreadsheet and export an existing chart to a graphic file for display online? Also, can this component be accessed via classic ASP or just .NET? Thanks, Bill Shander bill@beehivemedia.com

Hi Bill, Thank you for your interest in Essential ExcelRW. 1) No, it is not possible to export the existing chart to a graphic. 2) Essential ExcelRW was designed for .Net so its ideal for use in .NET applications. However it’s possible to use it from ASP applications by generating a COM Callable wrapper, but this is an approach that we do not recommend using since there could be potential problems. You can find more information on this issue here http://www.codeproject.com/dotnet/nettocom.asp Thanks, Stephen. >Hi, > >Is it possible to use ExcelRW to open an existing spreadsheet and export an existing chart to a graphic file for display online? > >Also, can this component be accessed via classic ASP or just .NET? > >Thanks, >Bill Shander >bill@beehivemedia.com
