Caption bar for docked windows

Are there any plans to allow customization of the caption bar in the docking framework? As it stands now, the docking system draws the caption bar with the system colors for active and non-active captions. In our application we would like to provide the ability to pseudo-skin the application with various user-defined colors without effecting the system-wide colors. While we can change some colors in Syncfusion controls (background color for example), other colors are fixed.

Hi Michael, We currently have a feature request for the ability to set the active/inactive caption colors for the DockingManager. I will append the request details to provide for an event based option as well for custom drawing of the caption rectangle. While we cannot guarantee the turnaround time on the implementation, please be assured that we will do our best to accomodate the request in a timely manner. If it's imperative that you need custom caption drawing right now, then you can subclass the DockingManager/DockHost/CaptionPainter classes, and override the painting code within the CaptionPainter class. This is fairly simple and if you currently possess the source code version of Essential Tools, then go ahead and file a support request through the Direct-Trac system and I will guide through the process.
