I was wondering if there is any update on a recent conversation by email re the ability to save a grid to an excel format file. I was told that the lead developer wanted to do this and hoped it might be available during January, so I thought I'd request an update. I'm happy to beta test.

Hi Mark,
we don't have a concrete date yet when we will have this feature ready but it is a common feature request. You should expect it as an update soon after the 2.0 version in a couple of months.
I looked into it sometime back if we can have this feature available earlier but decided that it takes some more time.
