I have a GridControl in my app. It is set to have single selections only. When I click on a cell, I only get the grey border indicating focus but no coloring. How do I get the coloring back?

Make sure you have included the AlphaBlend flag in the grid.AllowSelections property.
Another thing is that normally, an active current cell will not show selected. So, try dragging several cells to see if that shows teh selections.
