How to tell if XP TaskBar Box has been expanded?

I have two taskbar Boxes in a panel as a search companion. One box searches the file system and the other searches a database. I never want both open at the same time. When the panel opens the database search is active (open) and the file system is closed. How do I tell if the user clicks on the closed box to expand it so that I may collapse the open box and vice versa.

Steve, We have introduced a public Collapsed property that will let you get and set the collapsed state of a task bar box, in our next version. The next version is scheduled for sometime in Feb. Hope this can wait till then. Regards, Praveen Ramesh
