Hi Stefano,
Current subscribers to Essential Suite will be offered the upgrade to the new version of Essential Suite (Enterprise edition) for an upgrade fee of $200.
This is to ensure that only those customers who wish to upgrade are upgraded to the new version and not everyone else automatically. We will waive the $200 upgrade fee for most customers. All you have to do is to send an email to sales@syncfusion.com requesting the upgrade. We will post details on this when the release is made available for download.
Thank you for choosing Syncfusion.
Best regards,
Daniel

Daniel,
I have a quick question for you regarding web version of Essential Grid... if we upgrade to Syncfusion 3.0 for the $200 you mention will I still have the possibility of downloading the web grid in Q1 2005, even though my subscription ends in December?
We are extremely interested in this feature... Do you think web grid will be delivered on time or not?
Thanks in advance

John,
We are very confident of shipping the web version of Essential Grid in February of 2005. In order to receive the web version you will need to have an active subscription.
With reference to the upgrade, we commonly waive the $200 upgrade fee. Also, Essential Grid for ASP.NET will be included in the base suite and does not require the enterprise version. We do hope that you will renew your subscription:) Please let us know if you need any additional information.
Thank you for using our products.
Best regards,
Daniel

Daniel,
We have written a fairly complex grid using 2.1 Grid (windows forms version) will most of the code be portable to the ASP.NET version?
Thanks,
John

Hi John,
The usage model will have similarities centered around the styles architecture and the grouping engine. However, much of the code would have to written specifically for the web control.
Thank you for using Syncfusion products.
Best regards,
Daniel
