XPMenus Menu gradient background

Hi, When style is Office2003, XPMenu toolbars are drawn with vertical gradient, but toobar with MainMenu style is drawn with horizontal gradient. We have to have them all drawn with vertical gradient. Is it possible ?

Hi Alexander, If you observe closely, this is how the MS Outlook 2003 menus look too. Please refer to the screenshot attached here which shows that only the mainmenu Bar has horizontal gradient while all other Bars have vertical gradient. Our Office2003 VisualStyle is closely modelled on the MS Office 2003 look and feel, and hence we have maintained similar look and feel in our XPMenus Office2003 VisualStyle for consistency purposes. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding on this issue. Regards, Guru Patwal Syncfusion, Inc.

Hi, I understand that your menu / toolbar look like Office 2003 :). BUT our customer has his own reasons to want it another way - everything (include main menu) should have vertical gradient. The question is: can we use Syncfusion and do what our customer wants, or we have to implement it ourselves or look for another product ? We prefer not to mix different frameworks in one product, and for sure not to implement it in-house. Thanks, Alex

Hi Alex, I am afraid, this behavior is not supported in the present implementation of the XPMenus framework. However, we have considered this as a feature request and a QA report# 645 has been logged in this regard. We will try our very best to implement this feature at the earliest. We appreciate your patience and cooperation. Regards, Guru Patwal Syncfusion, Inc.
