Hi NB 1)Are you encountering this issue when you are deploying an Application built with Syncfusion controls? 2)2. Also take a look at this Knowledgebase Article which discusses what you need to do with reference to licensing and deployment of applications developed using Syncfusion controls. We made changes in licensing in the 2.0 version of Essential Suite. 3)Can you update us on which version of Essential Suite you are currently using? We had some issues that were addressed in the 2.0.5.43 (patch) version. Regards A

1. Kindly open a support incident in Direct-Trac and we will post download instructions for the 2.0.5.43 version.

2. Also, can you post information on how your application is set up. If you have multiple assemblies:
For e.g. Assembly 1 has a reference to Shared, and Assembly 2. Assembly 2 has a reference to Edit. Once the form with Edit in Assembly 2 is loaded, licensing will fail due to Assembly 1 having a license only for Shared.
This was fixed with version 2.0.5.43.

3. Is this a managed C++ application?

You are right. We have a few assmblies, one refered to three SyncFusion DLLs, another refers to six, and the rest none.

I''m having exactly the same isue with a C++ program. Is there a known issue here? The code worked find with earlier versions of Syncfusion controls, but now throws this exception when the first Syncfusion control is created.

Hi ebracha, it depends on what version of Essetnial Studio you have. If you have the latest version make sure you have a licx file in your project and that Syncfusion.Core is referenced. There is LicenseEnabler utility that you can run from within the Syncfusion Start menu to make this changes for you.
