Class reference not available in VS help

I have installed Essential Grid and see in the User Guide mention of the Class Reference being integrated into VS.NET help. My VS.NET help doesn''''t have the Syncfusion stuff. I see the class reference files in the install directory structure. How can I hook this up, or otherwise view the Class Reference. See enclosed screenshot showing "(no filter)" on help, and nothing found for GridDataBoundGrid, etc.

If you look in this folder, Program Files\Syncfusion\Essential Suite\2.0.5.1\Help, you should see many help-type files (a couple of dozen or so). In addition, you should see a file named RegNameSpace.bat. Running this batch file will try to register the Syncfusion help so it is available from within VisStu.

I have version 1.6.1.8 of the Grid, so it sounds like a different install structure. In the help dir, I only have .hx* files, one of which (.hxs) is most probably the info I need, just don''t know how to open/view it. Is there a batch file you can send/attach that will register this version of help? (Or even send the 2.x one so I can see how these are registered) Thanks!

First check to see if this folder exists in the Syncfusion install path, and that it has 5 files in it. Syncfusion\Essential Suite\Help\Class Reference If the 5 files are there, here is a little utility to register the help again. Unzip these two files and copy them to where the help files were installed. Within the batch file, there are two ocurrences of a path that should be set for our full product install. Another thing to check is to make sure Visual Studio is not running when you do this.

Thanks! That (mostly) worked. Confirmed the files existed, ran the batch file. First 2 registrations succeeded, then 3rd one failed. Log attached if you''re interested. Even with the failure, the help contents are visible now in VS.NET, so not sure what the 3rd registration is for -- what I''d be missing. Very good job on the class reference, BTW

If you are using VisStu 2003, then change the MS.VSCC''s in the batch files to MS.VSCC.2003. That may be why the last item failed.

Yes, that was it. Change to MS.VSCC.2003 and all is well. Thank you very much for the great support!

My Essential Grid (evaluation copy, version 2.1.0.9) seems to be missing the reference documentation. Below is a listing from the help directory, there''s no subdirectories under it.

The class reference is only available if you download the full suite evaluation. It is not a part of the separate grid evaluation download.
