Sorting & Grouping Unbound Columns based on Display Text / Values

I'm unable to Sort or Group unbound columns.

Can you please let me know if sorting or grouping is available for unbound columns

We are supported the sorting and grouping for unbound columns. By default, sorting and grouping working for unbound column. Please refer the sample link below.

By default, when we apply the sorting for SfDataGrid, it does not sort the underlying DataTable collection. We have performed the sorting for DataTable in our source for bounded columns only. When you try to apply the sorting for Unbounded columns it does not work with DataTable collection. We did not provide the support for this.

So, its clear that unbound columns cannot be sorted or grouped (based on my usage)

We have analyzed your query. If your collection is DataTable you can’t able to sort the UnboundColumn, if you are converting the DataTable to dynamic collection and bind that dynamic collection to SfDataGrid means sorting is works as expected.
