App crash issue in iOS

Hi,

Our application consists of Form templates which have different sections inside it, and the section again comprises of various controls.
One of the controls used is the SfTextInputLayout version 17.3.0.26

Now the issue is that while navigating between these sections, app crashes intermittently with an exception that targets SfTextInputLayout.
We have tried to figure out the issue and also some workarounds but couldn't find the root cause, although the crash that was very frequent is now intermittent but still facing the issue.

We have attached screenshot of the exception logged in app center, kindly check it and let us know if this is an issue related to SfTextInputLayout or if not then what steps could be taken to get an appropriate fix.
Please response back asap.

Thanks

Hi Meenal,

Thank you for your interest in Syncfusion products.

The reported issue has already been fixed and moved in this 17.3.0.28 nuget version itself. You can upgrade to that version or to the latest version and check it out.

Feel free to contact us if you need any further assistance on this.

Hi,

In order to upgrade SfTetxInputLayout, I've upgraded the Syncfusion.Xamarin.Core version to the latest i.e 17.4.0.41, but the issue does not seem to be fixed yet.
Please look into this issue as early as possible as it causes the app to crash intermittently.

Thanks

Hi Meenal,

We suspect that this is caused due to NuGet cache. Could please check by following the below steps?
·       Uninstall the NuGets
·       Delete bin and obj folders
·       Clear the NuGet cache
·       Install the latest NuGet again
·       Rebuild the solution

If you still get issue, could you please check and modify the below sample based on your scenario which would be more helpful for us to assist you?

Regards,
Divya Venkatesan
