Material Design - Floating Labels

Hi support,
in your documentation you mention that there is a new way to generate a floating label with javascript.

https://ej2.syncfusion.com/javascript/documentation/textbox/migration-from-css-textbox-to-javascript-textbox/

Does the "old" way with CSS still work?
If not, that would mean that we have to change all the forms :-(

I'm asking because I have an issue with the floating label at input fields.
The label is always placed outside the input field (like there is already a value typed in).
The line below the input field is animated normally.
I'm using the css-way for the input fields.

Regards,
Stephan
