Word to PDF Converter and Native Word support

I am testing SyncfusionWord to PDF Converter library for c# and it uses custom engine while converting to PDF. Is it possible to use Word if it is installed while converting word documents to pdf?

Hi Marek,

Thank you for contacting Syncfusion support.

Please find the details for your queries below as follows:

Yes, it is possible to use Word if is installed while converting Word documents to PDF.

We have created a sample to meet your requirement which can be downloaded from the following link.
https://www.syncfusion.com/downloads/support/forum/149321/ze/Word_to_PDF1311406350.zip

In the sample we have done the following things.
1. If the Word application is installed in your machine, loaded the Word document using Word Interop.
2. Converted the Word document to PDF using Microsoft Interop.
3. If any issues occur while converting the Word document to PDF, then the conversion process will be handled using Syncfusion Library.

Please let us know if you have any questions.
