Grouping Resources

I want to group resources but display them at a single level under one column without the parent- child view but should still be able to filter them via different resource ids / separate fields.

I added them as a group but they wont align in a single column because the second

resource splits them in a separate column on the day view, is there a way to show them as a single resource but

still able to filter on multiple fields, please advise.

It is default behavior and not customizable. Kindly try single level grouping in Timeline mode like below.

Thanks for the update. 

 

By default, long duration event will be displayed first. For example in the below sample, Requirement planning event will be displayed first and if Workflow Analysis event duration is changed greater than Requirement planning event then Workflow Analysis event will be displayed first.
