SfAutoComplete BackgroundColor

I am evaluating the Syncfusion Xamarin Controls .

I am trying to change the background-color of the SfAutoComplete using the available property BackgroundColor.

However, when i use this property, the control stays white.

<autocomplete:SfAutoComplete x:Name="acLicencePlate" HeightRequest="40" BackgroundColor="Red" 

</autocomplete:SfAutoComplete>

Is there a way to set the background color of this control?

Also: the ShowBorder and BorderColor are not respected.

We have checked the reported behavior in all the platforms, and we would like to inform you that in UWP the BackgroundColor and BorderColor will be displayed only when the control is unfocused. Please have the sample and video,
