Bug in 16.4.44

I've npm installed 16.4.44 and i follow the tutorial from the documentation to install the dropdown list. 

When i run the app via "ng serve --prod" i get the following error. I'm expecting it to work properly. What am i missing?

Based on the error details , we suspect that you have missed to install input packages in your sample. Kindy check by installing input packages in your end. Also, ensure whether all the dependencies of DropDownList has been installed in the node modules folder. Please find the list of dependencies from the below document.
