SfCalendar Day Of Week Header

Is it possible to change the Day of Week style on the Sfcalendar? I'm using MonthView.

Would like the days to be something along this format ~ S, M, T, W, R, F, S

I tried setting the DayFormat within MonthLabelSettings but I didn't see any changes based on my input.
