Is it possible to reset a password directly in the database?

Hi Roland,   
Thanks for contacting Syncfusion Support.   
For security purposes, we had the password with encrypted format in database. So, you cannot update the password with plain text.   
Would you please let me know the reason for resetting the password directly in database? So that, we can provide the solution promptly.
