Do I need to create a DataSource for each table in my database

I want to display data from a number of tables each in its own grid.

For example, a Customers grid, a Products grid, an Orders grid. But I want these to be unrelated.

When I create a datasource and drag multiple tables it seem to want to establish a relationship between the tables.

Do there for need a separate datasource for each of the tables?

Yes, You have to create a new data source for each table to achieve the expected scenario of "Using multiple tables without joining them". After that, you can proceed to configure each Grid widget with one data source, which are unrelated.

To add more data sources please click plus button in Data sources container which showcased in the below screenshot,
