Hi what is the difference between Report viewer and dashboard server, and when should I use which?

Can the authentication database (SQL Server in this case) be shared between reporting server and dashboard server so that the userbase /groups etc remain same?

Hi Peritus,   

   

At present, we don’t have a support for sharing the database between report server and dashboard server. We have already logged the feature request for "Combining Dashboard and Report Servers into one"  and we are working on it, it will be available in any of our upcoming Dashboard Server releases.
