How to Install: ASP.NET Core 1.1

Hello,
This is my first question.
In this link:https://help.syncfusion.com/aspnet-core/gettingstarted/getting-started-1-1-0
It says: "After project creation, open yourproject.jsonfile to add our Syncfusion assembly packages"

However, I don't have that file inside my project. Instead I have project.assets.json, Is it ok if I add the Syncfusion assemply packages here? In which part?
I know it is a simple question, but I would like to start with the right foot on this.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Luis

Sidenote: It made me choose a Control altought it is not related to any. Sorry for that.

Hi Luis,

Thanks for contacting Syncfusion support.

Project.json file will not create if you are using Visual Studio 2017 where there is no project json file and you need to add reference in .csproj file itself.  Please refer to the below steps to render the components in this VS 2017.

If you are using visual Studio other than the 2017 version and unable to get the project json file, let us know with more details or simple sample that showcases your issue. This will help us to provide the solution.

We have also provided a sample creator extension support for ASP.NET core application you can also make use of this to create an application. https://help.syncfusion.com/extension/aspnetcore-extension/sample-creator

Please let us know if you need any further assistance.

Regards,
