I have an SfDataGrid with several unbound rows that use a style having a BorderThickness Setter with a ValueConverter:

<local:UnboundCellStyleConverter x:Key="UnboundCellStyleConverter" />

</Style>

It works fine initially, but when I scroll horizontally, those borders get messed up. Any thoughts?

Hi Cliffe,

We have checked your reported issue by setting the BorderThickness of GridUnboundRowCell but we are unable to reproduce the issue.

Could you please share the details for the converter code and if possible please modify the sample to replicate the issue. This would be more helpful for us to proceed further.

Hello. Thanks for that - I was able to replicate the issue, although it's a little intermittent.

In the attached version of your project, I created an UnboundCellBorderConverter converter that's used for the border thickness. When the view renders & I scroll all the way to the right, you can see the result in 1.png. Then, I grab the horizontal scroll bar & go back & forth a few times, then scroll all the way to the right again & you can see the results in 2.png.

Hi Cliffe,

The style will be re used while you setting the BorderThickness for GridUnboundRowCell using converter and scroll the grid. However, you can achieve your requirement by overriding the GridUnBoundRowCellTextBoxRenderer like below,

sfDataGrid.UnBoundRowCellRenderers.Remove("UnBoundTextColumn");

sfDataGrid.UnBoundRowCellRenderers.Add("UnBoundTextColumn", new GridUnBoundRowCellTextBoxRendererExt());

public class GridUnBoundRowCellTextBoxRendererExt : GridUnBoundRowCellTextBoxRenderer

{

protected override void InitializeCellStyle(DataColumnBase dataColumn, object record)

{

base.InitializeCellStyle(dataColumn, record);

var unboundRowCell = dataColumn.ColumnElement as GridUnBoundRowCell;

unboundRowCell.Style = App.Current.FindResource("unboundCellStyle") as Style;

}

Hello.

Thanks for your help. I tried what you suggested, but received a NullReferenceException when I tried to scroll horizontally. I did double-check and my style is not null. Here's the stack trace, I don't know if that helps.
