Nested Table Add New Top Row

When we are using your sample Nested-Table Group Options you can turn the add new record to be at the top or bottom but the top parent record does not show the area to add a new record.  We tried the

this.gridGroupingControl1.TopLevelGroupOptions.ShowAddNewRecordBeforeDetails = true; but that did not show the add new area either.

Any ideas on this?

Never mind the

this.gridGroupingControl1.TableDescriptor.AllowNew = true; was set to false.  It workd once I set it to true.
