Numeric TextBox in Grid - Max Value Validation

Hi,

I've made one of my grid columns as number type and i've set the max value property for the numeric textbox. When i click on the cell, it displays the numeric textbox but allows me to type values greater than the max value defined. It works correctly in case of the up/down incremental controls. The value above the max value is replaced by the max value defined if i click on the cell again.

Kindly guide me.

I've resolved this by using max setting in the validation rule of the numeric textbox.
