Can't Get Started With Syncfusion

I am new to Syncfusion and I am having a hard time getting started. The first thing I notice is that the install of Essentials for Xamarin only has 3 sample projects. I am trying to use the NavigationDrawer and can't figure it out. I have implemented everything the docs say but still no luck. I found a sample on the Xamarin Components page but it doesn't work either. All the references are broken. And the NavigationDrawer object does not have anything called "Profile" or "DrawerHeader". It seems these samples have not been updated in quite some time so perhaps that's the issue. Anyone have some insight into this? Thanks!
