Hi everyone

I was looking through "What's New for Xamarin.Forms" and saw something very interesting:

Maps

Non-Geographic Layers

The maps control provides options for rendering non-geographic layer shapes like floor plans, seating layouts, and more.

I would really like to have a non-geographical map to build a floor plan of a specific building. On top of that I would like to use navigation to guide the user to a specific point on the floor plan. Is this also available in this maps-control?

Yes, we can achieve your requirement to render floor plan by giving respective shapefile as input file.

For example, we have attached simple shapefile to render floor plan, likewise you can give your own shapefile to render the desired map shape as floor plan.

We dont have any tool to create shapefile and you can create your own shapefile as per the below links instruction,
