Android - Pinch-To-Zoom Disabled?

Noticed that pinch-to-zoom not working for Android PDF viewing.

Same code works fine on iOS.

Any ideas?

Thank you for using Syncfusion product. 

 

Due to memory related issues in Xamarin.Forms Android, we have restricted the minimum and maximum Zoom percentage for displaying PDF document to 75% and 200% respectively. We could not Zoom-Out (or) Zoom-In beyond the specified zoom percentage.  

 

Default zoom percentage is calculated based on the device resolution and it can be differ based on the device size but it is not 100 percentage.

Is there anything I need to set on Android to get zoom working?

It simply doesn't do anything at the moment (but iOS is fine).

Zooming in to 200% would be perfect :)

Thank you for your update. 

As we mentioned earlier, the PDF document will not be displaying in 100% zoom initially. The initial Zoom percentage will differ based on the resolution of the mobile device. On initial loading of PDF document, we will increase (or) decrease the zoom percentage to display the PDF document in fit width size and the initial zoom percentage will be higher than 100% for higher resolution device.  

In order to ensure the zoom is working properly, we request you to try zoom out the PDF document as minimum as possible. We are maintaining the minimum zoom percentage of 75% and we cannot perform zoom out beyond that. Then zoom in the PDF document to calculate the zoom percentage of 200. Kindly get back to us with more details if you still facing the zooming issue
